The Oak Room – featuring wood panelling and feature stained glass window.

The Long Room – featuring a decorative fireplace and surround dated 1553 comprising intricate wood inlay of a scene of Shrewsbury.

Tour Details

The tour will last around one and a half hours and the family member will be more than happy to answer questions and give hypothesis on the history of the house.

Photography: As this is very much a private family home we do not allow photography of our internal rooms. We do allow external photography from the garden. We also allow a “close up” photograph of the Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon wall painting – but no flash photography so as to preserve the painting.

We’re unable to provide refreshments.

“A fascinating and informative tour. Incredible history and Tony was incredibly knowledgeable.”
